Cherry Blossoms /Triolet for the People of Japan

Along with life, Cherry Blossoms bloom in tomorrow’s hope,
In flowers white, yellow, green, pink, some white to blood red,
Death of innocents by rubble, treacherous waves, how do we cope,
Cherry Blossoms bloom along with life in tomorrow’s hope.
Horrors seen chases our minds across despair’s tightrope,
Houses, boats, cars, fires, floating, followed by tides of the dead,
Tomorrow’s Cherry Blossoms bloom along with life in hope,
In flowers white, yellow, green, pink, some white to blood red.
