Knight of the Heart (knightsheart)

Poetry, Short stories, Blog, Titan

Until death she said
A solemn vow kept
My squire lies dying
From ambush unfair

We met in Hell’s flames
While Dragon raiders
Struck us from above
As we watched friends burn

I held smoking dead
My squire to be called
Help the living first
Dead honors will wait

By the well we met
With our living loads
Smiled returning to Hell
Smells we don’t forget

Until death she said
Holding me closer
Love assuaged our pain
Kiss me until death
